During your Love Encore Vehicle Redelivery appointment, many Subaru owners find clarity on features they've been curious about after spending time with their new vehicle. Here are a few common questions we often address:

Q: Is there a way to turn off the Auto Start/Stop function?

A: Yes, this feature can be temporarily disabled by pressing the Auto Start/Stop button each time you start the vehicle. The button is marked with an "A" encircled by an arrow. Its location may vary by model—typically found on the left-hand control panel or at the bottom left of the infotainment screen.

My rear gate isn't opening when I press the key fob button. Is it broken?

A: Not to worry! The rear gate will only open if the key fob button is pressed and held for a full second. A quick press won't activate the feature.

Q: What does the blue light on the dashboard mean when I start my car?

A: The blue light simply indicates that the engine coolant is still cold. It's not a warning—just a signal that the vehicle should warm up for optimal performance. You can drive with the light on, but gentle acceleration is recommended until it turns off.
